I have been looking forward to the new Star Wars movie for a while now. The Clone wars is a new 3d computer animated movie that will later be the tv show. Freaking awesome. Starwars.com has a bunch of new videos they posted and are worth checking out.
I have also caught the collector bug again and have picked up a few toys, some clones and even a few speeder bikes. I know im to old for this but I couldn’t help it.

I don’t know what to say. I apparently have better than average luck. I won a “diamond” ring or necklace for my mom as a kid. (was it real I don’t remember but it was a big deal)
Last year I won Nintendo Wii, and yesterday I won an Ipod. Ok so it was a shuffle but still, its kind of cool. I went to a job fair and they used the iPod as the carrot to keep us from leaving the fair early. It worked, just about everyone at the fair stayed and I ended up winning. So now I have 4, just as god intended.

I have done my fair share of fund raisers, or should I put it. I have participated in my fair share of them. I have never had to run one of my own. I have done the chocolate sales, the sponsor me to jump rope ones. I have done it all, at least I thought I did. The next time I am on a committee for scouts or whatever I have a new resource for great fund raiser ideas. ARC Marketing has all the supplies you need to put on a successfull fund raiser, from the wrist bands to custom car magnets. They have it all and organized so your next fund raiser is full proof.

I know that it should be unpopular to say that I like the new windows movie maker. I can only imagine the crap id get if I had said that back in the day when I was at school. I use it all the time now when I need to cut something together real quick for the web. I wish I had this program as a kid.

Today in the office I kept sneaking into the fridge because someone has a bag of chocolate and I couldn’t help my self. They weren’t anything special, defiantly not a great box of chocolates like the ones from the Famous Fannie May Chocolates. With Easter just around the corner it is time to put in an order for your supply. There is no better place than Fannie May to load up on gourmet chocolates. They have the traditional big chocolate bunnies to great gifts for under $20. Plus choclate candies that have no sugar, which is a nice bonus for those who are cutting back or can’t have it.

So today is the day. The very first Stargate dvd movie is out in stores. What are you waiting for, go get it! It starts right where the end of season 10 ended, or should I say “unended” It concludes the Ori saga and gets us ready for another dvd movie that comes out in July. It’s pretty dang good, feels like the tv show but thats not unnecessarily a bad thing.

There is nothing in the world…well maybe thats an exaggeration but something that I hate to do is hand write addresses on letters, packages whatever. I don’t have the best hand writing in the world (I wonder where I get that talent ) and It always looks like a small child has addressed the package. It makes things even worse if what I am sending is supposed to be for professional reasons. I also wish it was easier to just print labels on what I already have but it never is. Thats why I wish I had one of these new Dymo LabelWriter. Not only does it turn the task of
printing out mailing lables (or any label really) super simple. It also takes a trip to the post office to buy stamps a thing of the past. This thing also prints postage !!!
You can buy your online stamps and print them with the printer. It’s awesome, I have got to see if we can get one of these for the office. Just plug it in to my usb and im set. Also the device is pretty compact and won’t take up a bunch of room sitting on my already crowded work station.

I am going back on the road one last time (cross fingers) I am headed back to Louisiana. I fly out there Friday morning and I couldn’t book a flight home until Sunday morning. I found some great travel tips on lifehacker this morning here is just one of them.
2. Carry a messenger bag. The topside flap gives easy access to your laptop and Ziploc of liquids and gels while the pockets provide plenty of storage for alarm-trippers. As soon as you get in line, tuck your belt, wallet, keys, watch, and phone into the sack.

Ring ring….ring Ring….hello. Oh hey whats up. What? ok.
So I get to start paying my own health insurance now. I’m ok with that, makes me finally and officially no long tied to the pa rentals as far as bills or thing kind of thing. California health insurance plans are much different than the ones here in Texas. I was checking the differences out when I was doing my own research last night. Did I mention you can now get a lot of the same information you used to have to get from a person in an office over the internet. Its greatness. Over on Kaiser Permanente’s site you can get your quotes for an individual plan (what I am looking at) but also families and even for a small business.
