This holiday’s I will for the most part alone, no big celebration or whatever. This got me thinking about the movie Home Alone and I think it is the best holiday movie ever made. Yes. It came out during the Christmas season in 1990 which would have made me 9 years old. It has everything in it that makes a great holiday movie. + It has scary old man (danger) , Robbers, pranks, mischief , rocking around the Christmas tree, John Candy, and a good ending. Here is the movie in 5 Seconds

There is a holiday coming up and I am not talking about Thanksgiving, well not exactly. It’s that weird day that follows Thanksgiving where house wives wake up at 4am (Mervyns) to go to stores and buy things. I am sure mostly on their credit cards and with out much thought to it.
It is called Black Friday because it is the day that most stores and companies finally get into the Black (financially) because of all this consumerism. However and unfortunatly it means some folks are driven further into the red. It can leave consumers looking for some credit card relief but most are unsure where to turn. Where to go to find that help. The Credit Exchange is not a debt management company but a company devoted to counseling people who needcredit card relief.
This holiday season lets get things right, lets get ourselves into the black instead of helping massive corporations get all the financial freedom.

Sometimes a film has such a clear goal it makes no sense to drag it on for 4 hours. Yes I am talking about Kill Bill. The end goal is in the title it self. Titanic should have been called Jack Dies when that big boat sinks at the end.
Here is Kill Bill in 5 Seconds

There are some movies out there that I have sadly never seen. Godfather, any Rocky’s but someone online cut the movies down to their core and did them in 5 seconds. These are hilarious.
(All of the Rocky’s)
(Attack of the Clones)
(Jurassic Park)

Sometimes I find my self with no other option but fast food, but most places don’t have a clear way to see what your actually eating. So you have to make a guess, but I found a site to help clear it up and make better food choices from fast food menus. Check out the site.

Getting older has been weird. Granted for me and compared to others I am still young but I do at times get those feelings about getting older and what that means. This month is set aside as a month to spread the news and help the awareness for Alzheimer’s. This entire month of November is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month and I want to do what I can to help spread information and maybe be the person who helps someone else in someway.
The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America has a wealth of information on their website, about what is being done to help find a cure and treatments but also and for right now very important about ways to help those you care about detect the early signs of Alzheimer’s. Check their website for places to get a memory test. Getting a memory test can help you know in advance that you show early stages or signs of Alzheimer’s and can start working on ways of holding it off as much as possible. They Alzheimer’s Foundation of America has tips for successful aging. Check the full list for yourself but here are a couple to sample.
Like I said check the website out for more information. During this month think about giving to the AFA and making a donation as a holiday gift to a loved one in their name. It is important that the AFA support the search for a cure but also and imediatly important for those who suffer through Alzheimer’s is providing help and information about how to care for those with it. Also to provide support for care givers of those who have Alzheimer’s.
